So here we go again. I only got the Passat a month ago and its a great car.

But I drive it really carefully and get about 42mpg. I really need more so a Polo Diesel is my way forward.

So if you want a swap I have a Blue T plate Passat Saloon 20v Sport with 126000 on the clock and tax and mot.

I paid £1300 for the passat .

I would like a Polo Diesel any shape or colour except peach.!!!

i'm not knocking your numbers but I had a 20v Passat, the naturally aspirated one and I couldn't get anywhere near 42mpg regardless of how I was driving, 115bhp and two ton of car, it's not a great combo.

I generally found behaving I could get it in the high 20's.

where did I go wrong?

You're not a 20V naturally aspirated burna.
