Ultralites fitted :)

Featured Replies

hey guys, if you haven't been watching my thread on the members gallery.

i bought a set of ultralites from Darrel HX and since then i've got my arches rolled, 2 new tyres for them and 8 wobble bolts for the back shortened cause they were rubbing on the brakes on the back.

However, i finally fitted all of them at once, the bolts are still too long and are scraping the discs still, the tyre wall is rubbing against the arch even though when i got them rolled the whole wheel, rim and everything went up inside the arch > <.

So far cost me about £425 :\.

Anyway, here are the pics, can't wait to run them properly

maybe lower the front more and raise back a lil bit!? go for that stance i think would suit shape of car better!

Look's nice, as above i think the front needs to come down more but still nice, and lovin the rim's!!

Unfortunately i'm just on 70mm springs hahaah, however, i'm thinking about getting some cheap coils for the front and just slamming the shit out of it :p

YES!!! lol do it

Love the wheels! But it does need to come down a bit more...

alex i did mention to you about the bolts and the rear drums, i used 5mm spacers to clear inside the drum. i ran these fine on my bready lol

Cut as much as you need off the end of the bolts? Either that or run some spacers but i don't really think those wheels need spacers on a breadvan.

Looking very nice!

I had the same problem with the rear bolts rubbing on my Mk3 dude, just chop them until it stops..

Are they 7j's? and what tyre size?

yummy

I'm running coilies on my bready though, so the ultra's didnt rub on the arch...

like the above said, just cut the bolts down. stop being a fassy

hacksaw the bolts down to size, or angle grind them, its a peice of piss tbh.

They do look pretty wicked on the breadie though, if i was you id just get some mole grips, line the jaws with some rubber or something to stop it racking your paint, and just pull the rear arches out some more. Its what iv had to do on my coupes arches, Works a treat,

Max

Looking good mate

Love the wheels, are they 13's?

will look alot better face down ass up ;) and should have minimal rubbing issues

Yeahh they're 13x6 but with a low offset.

Getting my bolts grinded tonight hopefully, taking a good 10mm off after measuring up!

My mate had them wheels on his car but 13x7 and he took 10mm off coz they where poking out already so instead of putting spaces on we chopped the bolts and cambered them in lol looks a great bready to

originally there were 4 Maxxis tyres, 2 were fucked so i bought 2 Hancook tyres. Exactly the same size but the new tyres seems to have a bit more 'stretch' on them. But originally i wanted my new tyres on the front, but now i have them on the back, no rubbing after a ten minute run around town etc. Bolts grinded. LOVING ITT.

I remember first getting my car and then lowering it, and everything felt so weird like getting into it and opening the boot etc. I now have that again cause it's that bit lower, i'm basically falling into it now :D:D

Picture from my spare room ^^
