hey people, how much you's recon i could get for my polo genesis its a 1.0 47960 miles, pretty much standard apart from the rear lights tint sprayed, i baught it ready for when I'm 17 but thinking of selling as i seen another car i really like!, so its got 2 previous owner, I'm the 3rd owner but I've never driven it yet, in excellent condition...how much you's think i could get? :)

it looks a good example, the milage shows in the engine bay, stick it on ebay it will fetch nice money, genesis aswell so at is easily £500 on ebay, and a good rare colour, tax always helps ebay auctions as people know they can drive it away, and it shows it is being used so no secret problems

IMO probably about £750-£850 if you were to get 6m tax on it; I've got my 1.3 mk3 up at £450 with no tax and it ain't selling :/

general rule of thumb - any car with 12 months tax and ticket is worth £500 of anyone's money.

I paid £400 for the coupé and I've spent twice that practically rebuilding the mechanics on it.

if yours is sound enough, I don't see why you shouldn't see £600 for it, tax is rarely an issue, as long as you offer to tax it for the new owner or meet them part of the way towards it.

the extra 60 quid is worth paying..... as it means people can drive the car straight away and not need to wait for insurance docs etc

as someone above say it also makes the car appear used which makes it seem more appealling

its had a few things done to it i forgot to mension wich are 40mm lowering springs and a debadged grill :)

it will be worth a good bit more with those extras!!!!!

swap the grill and springs back over and punt them seperately, modds dont add value to a car( as such) they just limit the people who might be interested

ill advertise it the best i can mate, just didnt put an amazing description on here as i was just affter a ruff price :), and its going up for sale on ebay i think so i could tell the honest truth on here mate, and that is what its a really good car, for me to insure when am 17 with co-op would only be 700! named driver, absoloubty nothing at all wrong with it, starts 1st time everytime without fail n amazingly clean :)
