hi I'm just new to the site. well been looking at the site for a while but this is my 1st post. just got my self a wee 6n diesel in dragon green to use as a daily driver and relieve my mk2 golf of the duty. keeping the polo mostly standard except lowered a bit and some new rims. :-D must say its my 1st polo and I'm lovin it.

cheers yeah the polo is so easy to run. its not the quickest but who needs speed. lol

wos bored today so stuck the allycats on the polo. there 13x8 with 165/55 13 tyres. cant believe the arch gap. its like a 4x4 polo now. :)

not keeping the alleycats on going for 15s-16s as I'm not going to lower it too much

id think 15s :) my 15s rub and my car isnt even lowered yet!!! also what are the indicators from the first picture? e.g. make i really want a set of those :p

your offset must be wrong if they rub. mine has 15s on at the minute and there fine. thinking 15inch teledails and a 60-80mm drop :)

dont know what make the indicators were dude. got them on the car. they had built in sidelights too. swapped them with jonnym for his clear ones

tried them on the polo and somehow dont think they'l fit

got some coliovers and fitted them. only sensible drop for now till i get a new m.o.t on it. and fitted some orange indicators

hated the 15s that were on it so put on some 13 inch steels

as soon as its m.o.t its going lower and fitting the 13x8 allycats of my golf and putting the 13x9 comps on the golf

it looked like an off roader. lol. now I've the coilovers in after m.o.t ill wind them down more and fit the alleycats proper. lol

well put the allycats on today. theyve a good bit of poke on them :) still need to wind the coilovers down some more but will do after m.o.t. also fitted a wee back box i had kicking about work. think its an argo's 1. lol think ill have to give the car a wash as it hasnt been since november.

dont know what offset they are. doesnt say on the back of them. think there 0 or less. the compomotives are -20 and -8 :)

and the plates arent legal. were on the car when i got it. I've never been pulled with them. there getting took off and pressed plates fitted soon

lol fair enough. is much arch work needed to get them to fit nicely? lookin into getting a set for my 6n or may be some superlites :) not to sure yet tho lol :p

got it m.o.t'd so fitted the allycats today and added abit of camber :) have to roll the front arches as the drivers side 1 rubs like hell. lol

sorted out the rubbing. wos the mudflaps all along. lol. so going to sort out the interior next. thinking single bucket seat with harness. keeping the rest of the interior standard

yeah i love mine. i got them by chance. fella i know deals in minis and went down to look at some superlights he had. noticed the allycts sitting gathering dust in the corner and offered some cash and ended up with them. even has original center caps :) there original only thing i done is give them a rub up eith some autosal and they were as good as new

no dude. there old mini fitmet. work out as 4x101.6 or something. I'm using wobble bolts to make them fit

Polos certainly looking better now. Loving the golf though, basically the same as mine but a 3dr and red, makes me want to take the arch trims off.

Not meaning to hijack, but dan92, I've got some 13x8 4x100 genuine Ally Cat rallye specials for sale, with tyres with basically new tread and also spigot rings. Pm me if interested, don't want to clog this thread up.
