I'm looking at tarting up the engine bay on my Mk2. I'm not interested in adding performance just want it to look alot better.

Could you people please post photos of their engine bays and any mention of parts/companies/websites where you got bits from would be greatly appreciated :)

I cleaned up my engine bay on mine . When I first got my car the bay was covered in wax oil I clean that with thinners and then polished it. My engine mounts where covers in crap so I polished them up and painted my block and gear box. Painted my fan cover and my rocker cover to. Also looks better when you change alm your rusty bolts to new ones :)

So having a clean up and a lick of paint is a must. Is there anything i can buy/get fabricated to tidy it up abit?

Yer made mine look ten times better just from abit off paint and a polish took me ages polish up mine got in all the little tight places aswell lol. If you have a look at my thread it's on there dude. It's under as Matt birkin's mk2 loon . The thread is on page 2 an the engine bay is on page 2. Should give you a basic idea. Let me no what you think of it

Haha not seen that thread I've just had a gt put in my loon and I think that us fast haha well for a 1.3 just want make it abut faster
