Advice on MK 3 polo overhaul, Body work and engine.

Featured Replies

Hi guys need advice on overhauling my MK 3 CL polo coupe.

This car is 19 years old and only has 50000 miles on the clock as it was received from a 90 odd year old woman (only owner) who didn't use it for 12 years.

Unfortunately someone drove into me on some back roads and one side of the car is ruined. Because I love the car and don't think its worth getting rid of I've decided to overhaul it over time starting with the body work.

I'm in need of a new driver side door and front wing and pieces of trim that I'm looking to get from GT/G40 versions. I also want to boost the BHP/ performance slightly and smartly without turning it into a boy racer styled car. This has been my surf wagon for the past 5 years.

Here's some pics (will uploads more/better ones soon ).

Some drunk idiot kicked my wing mirror off so needs replacing too.
