I'm trying to fit an aftermarket rev counter on my coupe 1.3 but i dont know which wire from the coil pack to use as the signal wire, anyone already done this?

could you not just use the wire that goes to the original rev counter? even if you don't have a rev counter the wire is still there. it's a black and red one that plugs into the back of your clocks... or does it have to be the one direct from the coil?

Would have thought the red/black one that connects into the back of the clocks was directly from the coil anyway guy :thumbsup:

duno mate on the mk4's it comes through the fuse box, although i'm not sure on the mk3 because i could never find a wiring diagram on line.

either way thinking about it you should be fine taking the signal from there as that's where the original rev counter takes it from

ill try that then or is there a signal wire off the ECU?
