Most modified make/model of car around your way?

Featured Replies

What modified make/model are there the most of? As in, there are a lot of modified Corsa Cs around here. (This is the Q I meant to ask!)

Round us there are a lot of indentikit Corsa Cs - absolutely slammed, tinted windows and maybe a black bonnet.

What about where you are?

Sum pug convertible with a huge bodykit on

Round here it's 500+ bhp Evos, I can only think of 2 bodykitted cars (funnily enough, both Corsa Cs with the same kit). There's a lot of money up here...

Haha, actually, I think the most modified car in my nearest big town is an E30 packing a S50B30 from an E36 M3, with BBS RMs, pretty low, absolutely mint, lovely red leather interior, etc etc.

I tried it on thinking at most it was a 325i, and got made to look silly lol.

Shit load of scoobys and evo's round my way and Glasgow in general tbh.

A silver 5 door Corsa C with a bonnet scoop, roof scoop, mad bonnet kit etc ><

What is the ONE most modified car?

Ohhhhhh okayyy, i See, Saxo's for sure ._. baree of them

Growing number of twats in C2s.

There's loads of saxo's n stuff.

Worst is a bright Orange Ford fiesta with massive bonnet scoops, giant bumpers, massive 17inch wheels and its high as sky lol

metro's.

fucking loads of them popping up every where i look, mostly rovers slammed on their arses, pretty cool tbh

Either the classic shape Impreza or Evo 7s are the most common modded car then

id say easily land rovers are the most often modified from standard.

306s and nearly as many vws!

weve got good taste! :D

dem bad boy saxo's yeeeee

Metros must be having a revival then!

Couple of evo's orange and silver one.. and a minter looks like the one off tokyo drift..

theres a 3000gt with a bodykit and theres a peng mk3 golf in like a burgendy color with a body kit and 2 exhausts pocking out of back bumper at either side.. always turns my head when I walk past

Corsa C, they've became exactly what Corsa B's were 5 or so years ago..

Mk5 Ford Fiesta's...

limo black windows, tinted rear lights, 17's and weed smoke. :disgust:

Mine..? Personally,i dont see bodykits and stereos as mods, just tat as they're added on Blue Peter style. There is a fibreglass-cladded Saxo parked before the speed ramp,as it cant get over it.. But its hardly anything but a slammed Saxo with some fibreglass clothing.

Bolt-on stuff is the way of today, because fewer people are inclined to go hardcore. I wanna see major technical modifications to the point of nearing an authority inspection, well i dont know of any outside PPC magazine. I dont know of any space-frames etc around here, though there probably is. Putting 19s on a Saxo doesn't impress me,but if the chassis has been well engineered for them well then I'm listening.

To back myself up,it has a few points for non-originality now. Within days i'll have wishbones, entirely floor mounted, with the front cross member no longer holding any part of the front suspension.

This to complement an adapted rear beam with twin anti-roll bars. This gives me considerably wider engine options.. I dont want brownie points, its just that technical transformation is what i see as proper modified.

I know of some old skoolers in the area, lovely late '70s mini clubman nearby, but again its quite original underneath. Seems the days of people making unique drivers cars arise thin in this age of cars being seen as nothing other than disposable yet fashionable appliances/gadgets. They get tarted up and thats about it,they're all the same underneath.

Opinion, mine, and that's not always welcome here.. but boy racers aside,i dont know of any proper modified cars around here imo.

Yeah, when I had one! And like Novas were 10 years ago.

bodykits seem to be a thing of the past around here. theres the odd astra focus with a kit on but nout much else.

Couple of mint civics about

few decent c2's

And theres a wack G40 thats always being ragged around here too with these shitty yellow wheels :ninja:

Fiesta's,

Hondas init.

i tell you what civics are popping up 2 a dozen round here.
