the trim goes infront and around the back of the arch but doesnt go all the way round, dont know if it will fit on a GT tho. there were two holes where the front bits went through the body can take a pic to show you. if the GT has holes there it should fit.

My GT has the 2 holes your have mentioned. I'll take them anyway, if they dont fit. someone else can have them.
