try jacking under it so that its forced into place , it might stop it turning enough to get the nut wound off

or a nut splitter

If it aint cross threaded, i`d try tightening it back up and looseneing it again, id also try and push the track rod up in the seat to try and stop it spinning or gripping it with mole grips ect.

cheers guys, I've tightened it back up but first drenched it in wd40, then I've trimmed the top (by about 1mm) as it looks like its flattened off and why its not coming off. gonna let the stuff do bit of work then try again.

try bracing it using a ball joint splitter should all else fail.

when mine did this i carfully cut it in half long ways to split in an then hammerd it off a put a new one on simples

I've got it off, i was bracing it with a ball joint splitter at the start as it was stiff. so i think that flattened the top off a bit. but trimming like 1mm of the top helped it a lot. cheers for the help.
