Re-laquering wheel's but with added Metal Flake

Featured Replies

As the title say's I'm gona re-laquer my wheels as there not very shiny and i aint happy with them but iv been thinkin and want some metal flake in there just for abit of somthing different.

They are a metallic burgandy red sort of colour so what colour flake do you think would go with that?

And what is a decent 2k laquer with a nice high gloss shine, i used OMI-CRON and just didnt get the shine i wanted.

Cheers

mix glitter into the paint and use a gun pikey but works haha

mix the metal flake into your clearcoat, not too much, build it up with coats.

then you're going to want 4/5 coats of clear ontop of that.
