After looking for around 2 months for some wheels, i stumbled upon these, 3 Piece Image Dm wheels. For an absolute bargain. They are in need of a refurb strip and polish and maybe a dish, i haven't decided yet. Here are the pictures....

Been busy in the last few days splitting down the wheels, This was a

mamouth task as they had never been split before aparently.

post-27660-1286488703_thumb.jpg

shown below i also started by giving the barrelas a quick sand down with 250 grit paper.

This was just to take the road grime off, mainly tar and some of the smaller pits.

The only thing that wouldent really come clean was the sealant, i will eventully get it off

when i dont have as much uni work to do haha Also the bolts have been soaking in coke

for around 10 hours, just to see if it will get any of the dirt and rust off them. If anyone

else knows any good techniques let me know :D

What are the offsets like on them?

Arch work will most probably be needed! I've got 8.5's on the back with arch work and stretch and I can't go low because the arch just sits on the tyre. Need to get some more camber on the go

Wheels should look good when they're done though!

Good work but I would have got rid of the aerial when you had the roof sprayed black.

Cheers man, it comes up really well when its been polished :) Yeh i will get round to the boot, gettin all of the body work done

professionally, as i am no good at it haha wouldent mind getting the rears arches flared first for the 8.5's out back, want them to

be legal haha lol You were rite karin, its funny you should leave a comment actually i was studying yours earlier haha i have

been worried about the offsets and fitting them under the arches, and to see that you had managed it gave me inspiration lol

Indy : I did think about it, the only problem is i actually like the radio :/ and i may need one of your stubby ariels haha

cheers, jack

No worries Jack just drop me a PM anytime, although I'm away on Saturday for a week.

I've had my aerial smoothed off and I got a windscreen aerial, just have to fit it :)

It's like a thin strip which goes right at the top of the windscreen on the inside, it's barely noticeable.

Btw, you won't need your arches flared to run 8.5's ;)

You can get them under with no rubbing problems with a bit of camber, arch rolling and the correct tyre size. I always find that good fitting wheels in standard width arches are much better than pulling the arch out to compensate for the wider wheels as it makes the arch loose a bit of it's shape and strength.

and to have all 4 mirror polished, Also to have the centers powder coated white and all of the nuts washers
