My car so far.................

Featured Replies

Ok well I've had the polo for around 3 months now, its a 1.4 tdi and had just over a 100k on the clock.

haven't done much to it so far, had it fully serviced, had a new coolant temp sensor as it went haywire and put some alloys on.

Heres a pic of when I first had it..............

And these are some pics I took today, after claying, polishing and 3 coats of wax

Next up is a cambelt and waterpump change and new pads and discs all round which is all booked in for the end of the month.

Any comments and suggestions welcome, wont be lowering or any major mods, just looking for subtle mods only

Colour code the bump strips maybe?

Definatly do the badge black though, transforms the front

Must be lowered! tis essential.

I was going to say, there's not much you can change without dipping into 'major mod' territory.

I'd drop it on a set of TT rims, maybe just a cheap springs/shocks kit if you're dipping your feet in the water. Then I'd take the badges off the back to tidy it up. If you're still not content, a bit of colour coding won't do you any harm. Stick to door handles and rub strips though, don't go nuts with it.

Rims and lowering are a no-brainer really, if you mod a car with 4x4 ride height and stock rims it looks a bit naff. Plus at 100k it wouldn't be bad money spent replacing your shocks anyway.

Just my 2p...
