Will they fit?

Featured Replies

Hi there,

I was thinking about putting some new wheels on my mk5 polo gti.

The wheels I have found have the following specifications:

Size: 16x8

Offset: ET35

PCD: 4x100

Rim Width: 8J

Rim Diameter: 16 inches

Will they fit properly or will i need to make some modifications? I was concerned about them sticking out too much as they are 8J.

(atm my car is completely standard mechanically with the original wheels and suspension)

I'm on 16x7s atm, they're a bit tight, you may need spacers or stretch to stop the inside fouling the damper, what size tyres are you looking to fit?

I have no idea tbh, whatever I would need to make them fit properly. Oh yeah, these are the wheels, if this helps:

Would I have to lower my car if i got these?

Thanks for your reply
