there must have been a way you could have fixed it in properly without glue! you got a pic of the broken bracket?

no we had to use the brackets off my old headlights and glue them onto the xenons, then put them in. they gap is tiny and hardly noticeable at any other angle, and they are fixed in nice and tight so from having a headlightwith zero brackets, to having them sat in there nicely I'm more than happy... might have to go for a drive

just gone and had a proper look and its not the headlight, its the actual bonnet thats making the gap....

will get it sorted :)

picture as shown earlier, you said headlight was low but there the same, bonnet is below wing on drivers side and on passenger side its slightly high , thats creating the gap , on my bf's golf there is ajustable rubbers at front that you screw up and down to level bonnet, nothing like that on polo just two big rubbers either side

maybe the bonnet hinges have moved maybe try adjusting them? Or notice if something is missing on one side..

All sorted, found the rubber bit you can adjust and now it's all sitting fine :)

I got the lights of eBay, was expecting them to go really high but got got them for £37 including postage. Wasn't sure what to expect tho cuz they were described as spares or repair, but he said they worked- just that they need work on the brackets. He didn't even say if they had bulbs so I assumed they wouldn't, but everything was there. Just taken it out and they look wicked

Ah right get u now :) I might do once these have blown but tbh I like the pure whiteness of mine. I thought I'd have to get my bulbs from vw or somewhere similar cuz they are the gas ones?
