/any big yank truck (not SUV). Liked 'em ever since I went to FL in high school. Nowadays it's more the fact that it would make Guardian readers tremble with anger that appeals :-)

MK1 ESCORT ALL THE WAY I DNT GIV A FUCK IF I've GOT A VW TATTOO ID STILL HAVE ONE

Mine was, and still is a Renault 5GT Turbo, I have owned a phase 2, white with the red optional carpet, kept it standard, even has the original airbox! But they are a royal pain in the arse, the starter motor was under the turbo so the wires always melted, and there easy to blow up, but i WILL get another :)

My uncles mate has/had a Deloreon, he took it with him when he moved to Australia but not sure if he still has it. Anyway, he said he was really dissapointed by it, he'd wanted one most of his adult life and wished he'd never bought it. It stayed locked in a unit as a hopeful investment last i heard

Arent most of the parts from the Volvo and Renault waste bins of the same era?

delorean was supposed to be a great car manufactuer all was going swimmingly till the owner ripped everyone off and ran off with all the money hence the dmc being an epic fail only the back to the future films made this car a success otherwise it would have been the biggest flop going

I always wanted this

PMSL^^ i can see where your coming from!

dumd and dumber, one of the funniest films ever made

Mock - in

Bird - yeah

Not necessarily genuine but certainly very original MK1 Austin/Morris Cooper 1071/1275 'S' preferably in rare original Fiesta yellow (actually a creamy beige) with Old English white roof and wheels, and original silver brocade interior. And Mota-Lita wood rim wheel.

You have no idea how much it'd cost to build or buy.

And i will build a Lotus Fiesta one day, just as it would've been had the shell been available ten years earlier. Transverse twink and Lotus 13s,chrome bumpers and XR2's round lights.

If i dont do it,a SuperSport or Ghia with modern lump. For all their flaws,i miss the biscuit tins - make the MK2 coupe feel sensible.

50's style 356A, preferably a Speedster but any style as long as its an A, burgundy/black/sky blue paint for body with coded original wheels, full chrome, slammed on skinny tucked whitewalls.

XR3i phase two. Decided after watching The Fourth Protocol, which was recorded on my street at the time. This one i could eventually afford,so i went and bought the best one-owner semi-concourse one i could find (Radiant red EFi). Not actually a great car but i loved it until, ironically,a Fiesta driver wrote it off.

Testarossa and 959 were the buzz cars of my childhood,as i was an 80's teen, but as you can see from the above, they weren't my type.

Mk2 Escort Mexico:

Wanted one since I started highschool, so in year 10 I bought one, 5-6 years later it's still unfinished:

Datsun 280z:

Finally the car that I'd end up dead in, the original cooper turbo mini, all that power and no crumple zones (apart from your spine). Can't find a picture after a quick scan on the net :(

Would give up my pinky for a low milliage mint one of these for sure !
