Hi does any 1 no where a can get a inlet valve for my mk3 coupe a got 1 from my local parts shop the other day and it was the size stem I need a 7mm stem size but the could ony get the 8pm size so if any 1 could help my it would be great if not the car is gettin scrapped lol

Try the engine shop. I needed some gt pistons, couldnt get them anywhere and they came through. Thy had to order them from Germany but they were super cheap and only cost 9.99 postage so was pretty chuffed with their service.

An alternative would be to ream out the valve guide to suit the 8mm stem.

You should be fine with Will. I dunno why he hasn't replied though. I am pretty sure the valve guide is what makes the difference between the early and later heads. so you could just use an 8mm valve guide from gsf to allow you to use the 8mm valve.

the head is booked in to get a 8mm valve guide fitted tomoro lol
