spotted this in in the show section on here the other day and as it was just up the road and only 3 pound to get in i thought i'd pop along with the family and check it out. turned out to be well worth it, got some pics of some of the car's but it's only on a camera phone

this looked great at a distance... but up close it looks like the paint was applied with a trawl

all in all a nice way to spend a Sunday, it wasn't the biggest show (probably about the same kinda size as the polo show), but there was live music, donkey rides and bouncy castles for the kids and loads of trade stalls and auto jumble

do you know that beetle then? it used to be my mums chaps grandads when he was a kid, got sold on and he spent ages trying to find it then it popped up on ebay recently and he snapped it up.

yeah that's my boy lol, not sorted the sump yet was meant to do it yesterday but got lazy, gonna have a full weekend on it next week sorting the sump and getting the recaro's in it :-)

it was my boss' car he had it in bit for a few years and then decided to put it back together after doing all of the welding, and in fairness id didnt take long to get back together, stayed on late for a few nights working on it so it could be done.
