could anyone with a mk4 polo with a 16v front bumper please do me a quick favour?

if you could just pop your front tow eye cover off and list me the part number on it, it would be great.

currently trying to source one and need a number.

please note they are different to a 8v front tow eye cover.

mines got two numbers one is 30015sg4 and one is 6no 807241a, i think its the first one as i typed them both in google and the second one didnt come up with anything but the first one came up with a load of shit in a different language but all the websites said vw lol

well I used the 8v one on my 16v bumper and it fits perfectly! it was off a genuine vw 8v bumper and put on to a 'euro car parts' 16v bumper though, but doubt there is any difference compared to the vw ones as all the grills etc are the same size/fitment.

they are different, just took my 8v one off and held it upto a 16v one, the 16v one is defo bigger

oo sorry. just realised the part code is identical except the 16v has an 'A' at the end, & 8v has a 'B'

so you didnt even try the 8v one before buying another one?

yes. hence knowing its a different size. hence needing one for a 16v bumper.
