G60 Brake Calipers

Featured Replies

Hi all,

selling a set of Golf G60 calipers (Calipers alone, no carriers)

Ideal for 256mm and 280mm (G60) applications.

I'll even chuck in the pads that were in them as they've still got plenty meat left on them.

These are the calipers you need if you're upgrading your 1.0 or 1.4 8v 6n or 6n2 brakes. They're also the later LUCAS ones, rather than the early Girlings and have the larger piston than the 256mm calipers.

Pads have equal even wear. so the calipers were working as they should when they were removed from the car.

£30 ono.

thanks for the positive feedback, ideal if someone's calipers or tired or if they just want an upgrade.

direct replacement of the earlier girling 256 type.

As far as i'm aware the pistons are larger, would you like me to measure them for you?

would these fit onto audi carriers for a 256 conversion on a mk3 g40?

they are a direct replacement for the 256 caliper, so don't see why not, they have a bigger piston than the 256mm one so therefore are better.

i will take these of your hands if we could arrange delivery ?

Are the bleed nipples and brake pipes freed up? No damaged threads?
