I recently took this as a part exchange for my last car. I wanted a part exchange as I was in the process of buying a motorbike and needed to free up some extra cash by downgrading to this beauty! Unfortunately the Jetta is too big for my girlfriend to drive so I am now looking to swap for something smaller (but also interesting!)

1.8gl, This is basically just a de-tuned version of the mk2 Golf GTI engine running a carb with auto choke. Starts everyday no matter the weather on the first turn of the key, she's smooth, quiet and happily cruises at 80mph at a nice quiet 3k rpm!

138k miles (daily driver so will rise slightly)

Tax 2 months

M.O.T 6 months

Pretty decent service history with loads of receipts from over the years and nearly every M.O.T

Immaculate interior, Including rear arm rest with built in cup holders! (if you're a weirdo like me and like little luxuries like that).

Everything works as it should! Starts, Drives and Stops

Bad Points (They all have them!)

19 year old body work! not particularly bad but I'm just being honest. Small patch of rust at the bottom of the drivers door and a couple of minor dings dotted about (all pictured).

No Aerial (Haven't bothered to find one because I still get clear radio reception?)

Rear passenger side door handle is missing, the grab handle is still there but the little lever isn't (Doesn't bother me as you can reach it from inside by going through the front passenger door).

I think I have listed everything but feel free to ask anything about her.

I'm going to say £800 but I'm open to offers. Would prefer part exchange for a smaller car, mk2 or 3 polo would be Ideal but anything considered!
