hello looking for wheels for my polo and i haven't got a clue about offset and that lol its a 1997 polo and this is the spec of the wheels i want

Type: STARMAG

Colour: BLACK HI-LITE

Size: 7 x 13

PCD: 4-100

Offset: ET6

also are these wheels ok? or do they have bad reputation? cheers guys.

grey area by the police but there clamping down on it more at present

always wondered why its illegal or becoming ,to have your wheels poke out futher than your arch ??? :S

Any part of the car that rotates petruding further than the body work. Its a safety thing really.

I think the theory is if you clipped a pedestrian your more likely to cause injury with a rotating wheel sticking out the arch!

The reason wing mirrors get away with it, before you ask. Is that there designed to fold back.

If you roll your arches you can get away with it. Or you can get some of those stick on arch things someone had on here for some serious offset.

Ever been hit by te mirrors on a SAAB 9000, they dont go anywhere :lol: and from the description the guy gave he would have rather been run over. :lol:
