Wiper Blades - Driver side Spoiler

as above, just bought some wiper blades from vw as they come out the box the driver side wiper blade has a spoiler, does it go on spoiler sider down? or up? as the bracket on it was for the spoiler to be facing up. but i do think it has to be facing down right? there is no instructions or photos on the box it came it.

anyone know?

spoiler is under the blade. its so air hits it and pushes it onto the windscreen to clear better
