done 36 miles since the last MOT (2007) and has been dry stored. It had a new cat, exhaust, fuel tank and brake pads to get it through that MOT

Just had the bearings done brakes cleaned and a few little bits sorted, Went through the MOT with no advisories

Also i just had an oil & filter change done

(rear interior is now back in)

60/40 works well, just watch your wheel choice as certain offsets and tyre sizes create issues on bready rear arches

You can roll the rear arches enough to get 6's under easily, depending on the offset and how low you are.

I was a bit dispointed when i saw it wasn't styled like a famous tank engine... :(

But it looks like a tidy enough find! Welcome to cp!

1str past down from the loop new G60s and bridgestones 165s ment for the winter, do you think they should fit ok once he's on the floor?

Washed, clayed, clayed, washed, polished, waxed, (not done any trim etc yet!)

Suspension is also here now 80/60 (any one local ish to northampton want to fit it?!)

I'd go with HnR cup kit all day long. My mate has it on his G40 and its brilliant. I had Wietec kit which was pretty good as well.

Got TA's now mate!, Cheap and hopefully cheerfull ish, not fussed about the ride really, not taken it over 60 yet and it cant handle any worse than it does now on corners!

Me too.... It's a very tidy 2F in one of the better colours. Effort on the paint has paid off, looks like new.

80/70 shocks & springs fitted, G60's + Bridgestone 165s on,

I rolled the arches and sealed them with tiger seal :)

Height wise its really practical, went up some dirt tracks with big rucks today and it coped fine!, just needs the exhaust tucking up as it catches on my drive,

The ride is harsh but it handle's much much better than before, and its nice to have decent tyres

Also sprayed the VW badges up as they were tatty,
