arnt the powerlooks LHD only?

I was wondering that too.

will have to get pics of my coupe with the 8000k hids, got them off veedubmachine.co.uk for about 65 quid.

I was worried that the 6k will be too blue, but they look alright. 5k look nice and white though, so I'm not too sure!

Do you need to get the anti-glare ones (cause I've not got projectors?). Will i get tugged if i don't?

This may sound like a dumb question but is it the bulb that creates the colour or the unit? Ie. Is it possible to buy a 6000k kit and put bulbs from a 4300k kit into them to change them to 4300k??

Tris where did you buy your hid's from? I'm looking around at dont have a clue what I'm looking at lol. I know its either 6000k or 8000k i want and I'm pretty sure there h4 bulbs but thats as far as i can get lol

I got them from here

H4 bulbs on a mk4/6N

H7 on a mk5/6N2

Mine took H7 though as I have FK headlights, which have clear glass, wasn't keen on the idea of running them through standard frosted 6N headlights.

Did you go for the slim 35w kit?

I'm also looking at purchasing a bi xenon kit from veedubmachine.co.uk the 6000k kit. is it better to get the hi and lo kit or just the dip? I've heard of horror stories of kits going up in flames before.... any feedback on this????

I'll try to answer as many questions as I can, yup mine are the lights in the link. That's a good price too.

They are indeed LHD fitment only, but with some careful aiming (ie, low) you won't dazzle anyone.

Three and a half years on nobody has ever flashed at me or complained, and my HID kit still works and hasn't caught fire

Mine's a 35w kit, I didn't specify slim though. Not using H7R bulbs either, even though the lights aren't projectors. Just the usual H7 ones and they're fine, but if I was buying again I'd probably go for the H7Rs.

I'd recommend holding onto your standard lights though, in case you ever need to revert back to them ;)
