OK,I'm 25 years old and got 7 years no claims,no accidents/claims,i have a polo 6n 1.4 8v and 3 points for doing 43mph in a 40mph zone that i got in 2006.the polo is completely standard (for now :-) ).

i was with privilege insurance for my last 12 months worth of cover on this car, covered third party fire and theft with protected no claims and was paying £60 quid a month for ten month. Then my renewal came through and it said that my new premium was going up to £102 a month even though nothing had changed,no claims, accidents etc! WTF!!!!!!

i foned them up and they said the best they could do it for was £70 a month which is still £10 a moth more than i have been paying with them on the same car!

needless to say,i did not renew my policy with them!

then, reading the forum i noticed Brentacre insurance cropping up and lots of good things said about them.I took the plunge and phoned them up.I'm soooooo glad i did! :-D

my new policy is third party fire and theft,a deposit of £139.00 followed by 10 payments of just £29.00! wow what a difference! the only thing I'm a little surprised by is the excess (£250) rather than the £150 i have always had.but when you offset that against the fact that they do not charge a penny more for any COSMETIC mods it seems pretty fair! also this is with protected no claims with a max mileage of 8000 per year.

so now i know i can fully euro my beloved polo and not gonna get charged a single penny in admin fees, increased premiums etc I'm a very happy chappy!

:-D

so i will be declaring all my future mods when i do them and not have to worry ever again! thanks guys for mentioning brentacre as id never heard of them.you have saved me a small fortune! :-D :-D :-D
