or he just likes to take care of his car? which trust me if i had the money i would look/modify after my car regardless off cost too (and i guess a lot of people on here would).

good luck with the sale mate

This car was made by a previous owner, that Alltech polokid iirc proberly the best part of 3yrs ago and it used to have a roll cage.

ah i remember it now, he put a lot into it only to find out he couldn't get insured on it, which pleased a few cocks on here that had been giving him shit all through the build :disgust:

haha no problem!

i've only done some of the above, credit where credit is due, a garage called "AllDub" did the bulk of the work (to a very high standard)

I don't even want to think what it'd cost in labour alone to re-do all of it!

And for the record, it was a showcage, which was falling apart and made more noise than the engine!

also, i see youre in Southampton; i'll be down there next weekend, is there any meets on at all saturday night?

Not that I know of mate, iirc the SoVag meets are usually on mondays (but not really worth going to anyway imo) Hey if you're coming to southampton do you fancy a Mint Gt interior to go in there? :)

that wasn't a dig at you, there were a few members on here that gave the original builder a lot of shit, think it was because he was a young un and they felt challenged by him or some thing, maybe it was another form of penis envy?

any way it wasn't a dig at you lol

sorry for messing up the thread mate :-(

£1700 takes it this weekend. Found out today that the sunroof leaks so you'd need to fix that.

  • 2 weeks later...

bump! now with 12 months MOT, 2 new tyres (£130) and no advisories :)

Interested!

Is the car still for sale??

If so whats the matter with the sun roof?? what would be involved in fixing it?

And is there much bubbling?

think the guy keeping as far as i know :(

Thats a shame would of loved to of takin it off his hands!

Amazin piece of work!

I bet people gave the original builder so much shit just cause he went and did just about nearly everything there is to do to a gt, and the veterans on here didn't like it.

Has this been dyno'd? Really interested on the results

is this for sale or???

back up for sale with a replacement interior, new clutch, new sound system. original price, £2000. the sunroof needs 1 new screw in the mechanism but i don't want to do it until the weather is better. can source a screw and show you how to do it if you buy the car.

Other than that, faultless. did 300 miles this weekend and it didnt skip a beat.

really could do with something more spacious as a replacement.

Paul.
