I have here my mk 4 polo open air used as a daily. some of you may have seen it about on here as it has got around a bit :( . i have own the car for 7 mounths now and cleaned it up . This is my 3rd polo and by far the fastest :). It started life as a 1.4 8v but has has been converted to a AFH 1.4 16v. this is what has been done so far hope you like and some ideas would be appreciated

lol yer it is i wondered how long it would be befor some one noteist lol was going cheap so i got and put the adaptor on it but i should get a smaller one really :)

well i have got the front one ready to paint so i might try it see what it looks like but the 8v bumpers are shocking there cracking where they been painted before, um bmc it will still only pull in as much air as it wants so no it will be ok :)

no there still the 1.4 cl ones i would like some g60 280mm but like you said my wheels wont fit then :( catch 22

what's it like with the 8v brakes? the gf was after a set of G60 brakes for mine but my rims wouldn't have fitted either so went for standard 16v ones with uprated pads.

its not to bad at all really cuz the car still weighs about the same as a 8v its not so clever when we went to e38 with all ther camping stuff lol but for every day driving its fine i might get some green stuff pads and see if thats any better if not the green mini lights will have fo go :( and some g60s wheels and brakes. how does your handle with better pads?

this car is mint, never wish id sold it now :( was quick when i had it, it got taken care of. very clean mate :) worst decision i ever made by selling this.

don't forget 6n2 stubbys. get some golf mk3 leatehr colour concepts in it :)

the brakes i out on were mintex so a decent make.

if u put 16v bumpers on make sure u put a 6n2 gti splitter on :)

um i would but i am going bigger i think :) um well i have got the bmc heat wraped it painted the wheels full servies, new pads and dicks cam belt watter pump 16v interiour i also have some 16v bumpers waiting to be painted :) were you going to valver yours?

Found a few pics that my mate took a few mounths back it was ment to be a nice sunny english day. haha yer right lol

Update. 16v front bumper is nearley done last bit of piant and bottom 2 grills to come and its done :) just ordered some brembro groved discs to try and help with the smaller brakes :)

Next eather 16v rear or new roof.
