first ones I've seen with the right offset for the car. most I've seen theres like 2 inch poke (too much)

yours fit nice though, looks sweet mate

must accelerate like f**k though on 13s :p

thanks mate yer i had some allycats on my 1.0l and they were stupid :( um yer there nice fit, accleration is stupid but does spin up in 1 2 3 if its wet :(

trying to get on the list for the rr day this year cuz i would love to know how many horses she has lol

some people need to get a grip. if he actually said yes about putting it on the rr in college i think id be scared about it. the things been there over 20years. i remember my dad telling me that he used to put his mk1 escort on there when he went to college there.. knowing my luck it'll jump out and fly into the wall. I'm too paranoid :/

owell looks like its rota gt3's instead on that note

bit of an update went on the club polo rolling road day to day pulled 117 bhp at fly 90bhp at wheels and 108 lb touque. really happy with it. also i have my cbr 600 carbs and the manifold is been made up this weeked :)

also been polishing once again lol.

cleaned the carbs 2 day and got my tubes cut for the mani :) wont be long now be4 she is on carbs

had a realy good day on the car to day started off getting the mani welded up by my mate jon, thanks jon then wel came back home and fitted the carbs and making a gegulator by kinking some fuel pipe lol. then we fired it up on the standard inginion lol ran but it dident like it to much, its running abit lean and the timing is out with it wants to advance. heres some pics a a vid

so what set up you running? CBR600 carbs, 4 branch with decat??

did you use the mk2 loom with coilpack or did you use the standard ignition with standard dizzy??

got mine through the other day =D got a weekend planned to get mine sorted

also where did you get the black windscreen washer bottle cap from??? could you have a look if its got a part number as i have a blue one and want a black one lol

that was running on the mk4 valver loom and ignion hense it ran shit no inputs fot the advance and retard

will be running a mk2 set up hopfuly

and the cap was painted mate just can fill it back up with water cuz the paint will crack lol

little update

sorted the throttle cable out at weekend and took it for the first drive, went well revs out very quick and revs very hard :) untill it pissed oil over where. i had to spend this week to see where it is comeing from i hope its just a blocked brreather :) have a vid of it going up the road will upload it soon :)

hope you get it sorted....loved my old R6 carbs on my 1.6 8v so cant wait to get my new ones on my valver =D has it made a massive difference on yours then?? as I'm running pretty much the same setup before and after as you lol

yer think i sorted the oil, its coming from the oil breather box so new sealy for that and hopful end of oil leak.

yer its so chuck fiderling, like the rubbers worked them selfs loss last light so i am with out a car once again lol

masive differance in acceloration i worked it out you can do the conversion for about £180 and get a 15+ bhp increase or a bmc for £170 and get 3bhp increase if your lucky lol

the main problem i have atm is i am running standard ingion off the valver so i have no limeter, not a problem but cuz there bike carbs they try to rev high like up to 20k if your engine would let you lol

lol i wondered how long it would be lol um i am keeping every thing at the mo, i am not sure if i am keeping the bike carbs or not as i do a fair few miles a week and i might be selling the car and it would sell better on injection from what i have seen so far on here lol

well it would sit nicely ontop of my 16v in the mk3, so drop me a PM which ever way you decide!

still not sure weather to keep the carbs on there doin about 25 to the gallon :( but i will get them jetted and rebalenced and see what happens i think. also i am not running the mk2 igniton still running standard mk4 igniton and seems ok touch wood lol.

tryed on the seat cordoba splitter 2 day, but its a bit big for the speed bumps at college :(

college speed bumps suck balls i go to aylesbury college doing mechanics and theyve got the plastic black and yellow ones ,and as I've still got my mudflaps on cos i love em and I'm nearly hitting sills if i dont slow right down a roll over them:s nearly got banned from college car park for driving inbetweeen some bollards in to disbled parking to get round them lol wooopsy:s
