Xenon headlights in a 6n2 GTI

Featured Replies

Hi guys and gals!

Iv noticed today that my xenon headlight had gone a pinky colour and has now completely gone out....

I have no idea if i have to now go and buy a new bulb, or is it a whole new part i need to get?

If so, where and how much are they?

Help would be much appreciated

Thanksssssss :-D

Can anyone help with this? :(

I would suggest that you start off by replacing the bulbs. It's a type called D2S. I would suggest that you replace both sides to maintain even colour from both as they do slightly change with time.

The normal colour temperature to buy is 4300k.

There is a guide to replacement in a FAQ on uk-polos.net

Ok?

eBay Item number: 120412416663

These will give a slightly whiter modern look and the price is very good at 29.99 for a pair.
