1996 Electric Window Won't Go Up Without Help

Hi, the passenger window goes down no problem. When the switch is pressed up the motor seems very feeble, it offers no help at all and there's hardly any noise from the motor, you have to move it all the way to the top by hand. Is it going to be the runners / clips I've seen mentioned in previous threads or is the motor knackered?
