100mm shocks and springs

Featured Replies

to find someone or someplace that sells front shocks and springs that will lower my polo coupe genesis by 100mm.

iv dropped it 80mm at the moment but the front bumber is still around 60mm off the floor and have approx 10-20mm space between alloy and arch - it looks weird, my backs are fine an dthe wheel sits nicely under the arch

can anyone help??

any shops, websites etc??

dose not sound like 80mm spring you have on the front.. only sounds like you have 40mm

depends on the wheel size, my old mk3 was down 80mm on 13's and there was still a good bit of gap between the tire and the arch, -80mm really isn't that low on a mk3, just look at the arch gap they have as standard, once you put 13's with small tires it becomes very hard to get rid of the arch gap.

arch gap of doom!

i've never seen any -100mm kits for sale (although that doesn't mean they don't exist), the lowest i've heard of is 90, add lowering top cap's and your there.

or if you've got or knows some one with some skills you can modify mk1 golf coilies to fit it and go so low you kill you sump :unibrow:

there's still nearly 3" of bump stop on the front colies in that pic so even if you only chopped it in half you could still get another inch and a half lower but you would need some heavy duty reinforced sump

there's a how guide of how to fit them in the suspension section FAQ
