Will these be ok for my mk3 bready?

Featured Replies

1st off all I'm sorry for a suspension question! I know on club lupo we hate it..

Right, iv never bought springs/shocks before only coilovers, I'm not use to how mk3s/breadvans are to lower,

Want it pretty low but still driveable (car is never drove hard or fast) but it is a daily,

Iv been looking at this below, TA 80/60, And the rear is adjustable from 50mm to 80mm? (can some one clear this up)

Also would i need to upgrade the top mounts or anything?

Wheel wise i have some new G60s with 165/50/15s to go on, but i will be buying 14s for it soon,

Thanks in advance :)

Rich.

Yes, they are fine. But dont expect a comfy ride.

The 50-89mm on the rear means that the lower spring seat/plate can be moved up/down the rear strut to lower/raise the car

Last question, What are these "lowering top caps"

Will i need them?

Thanks :)

the lowering topcaps will lower the suspention by a further 10mm, they arent needed unless you want that little bit more low :)

ooo i see, Where would i buy them from then?

I just ordered the above set up, got it for 120 delivered! :)

if you order a "90/80" kit from "PhilJ" on here then the topcaps come with it, 80mm springs plus 10mm topcaps.
