think thats about it! oh brakes need looking at too!

just been sorting thru all the parts that came with it, got all me tools ready, and full up on food, so off to play!

What intercooler are going for?

despite the potential onset of rain, i ploughed on with the car! now got the G40 ecu, G40 engine loom and Mk3 Engine loom re-wrapped and fitted, with oem holes through the bulkhead. Throttle cable fitted, exhausts all fitted (but badly needs a new tailpipe - dtm upswept ftl!) Intercooler is mounted and radiator trial fitted. Sound deadening stripped from the interior and mk3 in-tank fuel pump fitted

So that leaves me with a few jobs left when I get back after the weekend. Fit fuel pump, lines and loom, block off BRV, fit dump-valve, plumb turbo oil lines, fit intercooler pipes, fit rad and plumb in, bleed brakes, mount boost guage, brap and mot!

oh and holesaw vents for intercooler in front-panel.

no piccies unfortunatly bar this one, from when it arrived in the morning, as me phone b82res is dead!

Cheers mate, bodywork wise, its in really good nick, most comet blues I've seen have loads of laquer peel.

My only bug-bare is the aftermarket number plate light thats been mounted on the boot above the plate, when it was rolling with no bumpers! ill get it plated over at some point.

intercooler came with the came, its looks like an ebay special. this cars had alot of the front cross member cut-out and a strengthening bar but in place, but its not beefy enough imo so ill be getting a friend to fab up some shiz when its all on the road.

been having a pain trying to fit the car, its gotta go at some wonky location for the time being until i can get a slimmer version, there was a new Mini radiator but its too tall to fit nicely with the rad, and the water outlets are too small. dont think itll give sufficient cooling either. will see what some motorsport places have to offer.

pretty confident i can get it ready for all types, buzzing for next week now to crack on, and drive it to all tights!
