Not happy with stance

Featured Replies

Hey guys, ignoring the camber issue in the pic, i need to find a way to go lower at the front. It's not as if my car is high anyway but i would like a bit of tuck at the front as when you look at it from the side the back of the car looks lower than the front. I am all the way down on coilies at the front so struggling to find ways to get it down by just a few cm more.

Any input appreciated.

Thanks.

Helper springs out, failing that, I've heard lopping a coil off bring the front down a bit

should have bought some diecent coilovers?

Get some lowering top mounts and sort out that front camber you can also remove the helpers and chop the bump stops in half

hmmm can you use lowering top mounts with coilovers? defo loose the helper springs as well

Thanks for the input, but how would i go about removing the helper springs? And where can i locate the bump stops?

Yeah you can\'t use lowering caps with coilovers.

As said helpers out will give you another 20ish mm

You need to remove the coilover and take it apart and remove the short spring and fit all back together again, bumpstops are under the black rubber boot and will need chopping in half

Cheers llewellyn, that looks a bit extreme chopping the coil

Still trying to think where the bumpstop is though, is it actually on the suspension strut?

On the rod under the black boot if you have it

Ah ok, i'll have a look later, so it would be the yellow bit you chop in half horizontally?
