just been thinking alot lately about getting some winter wheels on the go as i'm constantly feeling like my stretched tyres are sliding :s i don't know if that's just me or if anyone else has experienced this!? let me know please! :)

also i think i'm going to put my 13" standard polo 6n2 steels back on, they've got some tyres which are practically brand new and no stretch so should be good for winter?

let me know what you think because i don't know if it's just me being a worrier or i am actually sliding round now it's wet and cold :')

oh and my tyres are bridgestone potenzas 165/50/15 on 7J Ronal R15's

Stretch shouldn't make a difference to you sliding about. Its going to happen now no matter what tyres you have.

Winter wheels are used normally so you dont ruin your decent wheels really, not because of slippyness lol.

However, through snow steels will probably better as there not so wide so you will dig into the snow more so than floating above it.

yeah that's what I meant about winter wheels just wasn't sure whether stretch would affect the slippyness bcus there's less tyre touching the road isn't there?

I'm liking the low and fast btw aha bumpy as fuck! just seen you're from wolvo too, that's only ten minutes from me. any local meets you know of?
