Hahaha sucks to be a learner these days :p

They where talking about it on radio 1

Had people calling n txting in.. they where saying such silly things.

Apparently having to look up at the signs to see where to go is too distracting and takes your eyes off the road. Its too difficult to navigate too some where saying

Couldn't believe my ears.

If you cant look at a road sign whilst driving and navigate without being told to turn left or right, what the fuck are you doing in a car?

i heard that one and thought FFS  but then I bet you can change CD's and drive at the same time, dull fuckers.

Aparently you can't fail if you make a wrong turn or go the wrong way on that part of the test.

I'd just go for cruise along some dual carriageway and then take the junction, all the way round the round about and go back.

you don't have to go the right way, you just have to make sure you make no driving mistakes!

seems to make it easier to be honest, as you've only got to do one manoeuvre!

got my test on friday! hope i pass

From my girlfriend who passed yesterday. She said, although you can take the wrong turn, The examiner will tell you what way to go to get back to where you need to be, And you HAVE to do that in a safe manner or you could be failed.

In other words , Trying to make your life easier by turning off so you dont have to follow signs could work out bad if your then asked to safely perform a manouvre in order to rejoin the route, I.e turn in the road, reverse round corner...... blah blah blah

so they made it harder bet that people still use there phones whilst driving and do there make up (women unless your a cross dresser) and there will still be stupid crashes so the test has nothing to do with road habits you drive ace for 40 mins to an hour then your free to do what ever behind the wheel and there arent enough police to catch half these muppets

lucky i passed 3 weeks ago then :) now just need my polo to look good before i annoy everyone with pics

Glad I'm not taking that, 3 years of driving all over the country has made me totally satnav-dependant.

i passed five years ago and the rates have gone up something chronic its a rip off

i failed my first test for being too slow......FML

passed second time round

my test got cancelled, due to lack of examiners,

really annoyed! was soooo ready :x

and they rescheduled me for the 22nd which is miles away...

Mines on the 23rd November :( I booked it a month ago and that was the earliest available! god damn it.

keep checking - you sometimes get a cancellation so you might be able to get an earlier one

I've mentioned this before.

READ IF YOU ARE BOOKING A TEST

Test dates are updated on fridays. I talked to my examiner and she got called in from somewhere in the country to help get through the test numbers.

They add these tests on friday mid morning roughly, so if you keep checking at these times you can get one within a week or two. Just be patient, but be careful with your adjustments, I ran out of changing dates but i managed to get mine to 6 weeks earlier.

NEVER BOOK BEFORE YOU ARE READY TO PASS.

AS GREAT AS DRIVING IS, IT'S BETTER TO BE READY THAN TAKE A BLOW TO YOUR CONFIDENCE AND A 75 QUID HIT IN THE WALLET.

i failed my test today.. 100 quid down the drain, and I'm fucking gutted.

Sorry to hear that buddy, i failed my first two, i rolled back on a manouvre, and then the second i almost cut someone up haha :D

Third time i passed with 2 minors, not to mention how many times i had to take my theory :/
