Looks sick in this picture imo. Those lights really make a difference, love the nice clean black & silver theme.

looking very nice mate

looked pretty sweet with the mudflaps on too

if you dont mind me asking how much you pay for the powerlooks?

  • Author

Cheers man, Wasn't too sure what direction the lights would take it but I think they have worked pretty well.

The mudflaps look alright, but cleaner with out them I think. Also they tend to scrape on hard corners on the floor :/ haha

Urmmm...Picked them up for £94....not tooo bad, whatcha think?

nice one ryan, what have you got planned next?

Not too sure, was thinking valver bumpers but thinking I'm gonna stick with the 8v ones for a while. Try and get the paint looking better, maybe abc pillar re-trim and some new number plates to clean it up a bit more. then maybe leave it untill I can think of anything else to get done to it haha

Looks smart dude

You wanna drive on/off your drive at an angle, you wont have the sill problem then ;)

This car is going to look sick with the teledials on, what colour you going with them? IMO they would look awesome gloss back but... :D

  • Author

you'll soon seeee :) should be loooks good hopefully.

polished dish has been started

photos showing progress

this is what I had to work with......corrosion/pitting. not the best

23032011532.jpg

that all came out an hour or so later..... hand polishing is not fun

22032011529.jpg

gave up, waited for adapters and on the car the wheel goes and into 3rd gear

DSC04801.jpg

grades either 800/1200 some small scratches that will need taking out....more wet and dry to buy tomorrow to finish it off and get it looking mint :-D

DSC04800.jpg

how they were and how they ARE....not yet finished either :p

DSC04802.jpg

DSC04804.jpg

Also got rid of the rear wiper, no pics as of yet. we all know how it loooks. cleaned the back up abit.....possibly bootlid smoothing coming shortly, maybe.

I was thinking of that, but then on the other side of the slope/drive that goes onto the road it a fairly narrow drop sectioned curb.....not worth the trouble trying to avoid it. I can miss my sills if I aim with military precision

Nice job mate the car is looking sweet as. Can i ask what size tyre's you had on your steel wheels.

duuuude, the car looks nice a clean man... iv just got myself the same car lol! satin silver, 1.4 8v... when iv been looking down the pictures you have done EXACTLY what iv been planning to do, so weird. good luck with it mate!

Hi Ryan :)

Cars looking good man, can't wait to see what it looks like on the teledials.

We will have to find a decent location and go for a few pics when there on :)
