I've got a 2001 Pug 206 and I am getting a 6n Polo (4stud) within the next month or so, Not sure if I will be driving it straight away but I've seen a few decent sets of alloys that I want to fit on the polo but I'm tempted to get them now and put them on the 206 until I start driving the polo...

Polo 4x100 studs 35 to 38 offset 57.1 bore

206 4x108 studs 18 to 38 offset 65.1 bore

Generally speaking if I get a set of alloys 4x100/35 offset would the bore make much difference in fitting? or would I need to buy a spacer for it.

As long as the bore of the wheel is larger than that of the VW centre bore, you can get sprigot rings to fit, and take up the difference. However, if the bore of the wheel is smaller than standard VW bore, then its a no-go, or get a machine shop to open the centre bore out for you

If i understand what your asking though, i think you are going to have trouble making polo wheels fit on a pug if the bore is smaller (since your going to want to put them on the polo eventually). Whats the centre bore of the wheels you're looking at?

They wont fit on both due the stud patterns being different. Info you put in your post :-)

there are quite a lot of alloys that have 4x100 and 4x108 multifit holes drilled though

I'm looking to get them now and put them on the 206, then put them on the polo when I get ot so spigot rings would sort that, as for the stud fitments I#l need to get multi fit wheels for it to fit both then if I understand correctly?

basically, the 4 holes you put the bolts in are in different places on pug and polo

Yep multi fit 4x100/4x108 along with spigot rings, if they fit the pug with spigot rings, they'll fit the Polo with different spigot rings. But to be fair multifit wheels are gash and a month isn't long to wait is it?
