Thanks mate. Btw this aint the start, I started off with the bodywork which is now finished, just door handles and mirrors needs painting and then wait for the weather to let me take some pics. :)

Today another packet was delivered to me. :) I've bought myself a central locking kit, as I had enough of manual door opening. It has some pretty good functions, and the price is attractive too. I'm really impressed with the Power window output, and the trunk release.

Here are some pics:

Well, you shouldn't really be comparing those wheels to the ones I have as they are completly different. :) And the picture you posted doesn't show mirror polishing but standard silver colour. The black isn't for sure yet, but that's what I'm planning at the moment, as I cant think of a colour that would go well with my car.

The company is called RightCLICK, their website: www.rclick.co.uk :)

Thanks for that! The kit you got, is it the keyless one?

Yer, it is. It's the full central locking kit with remote keyless entry.

Did you have any luck fitting it? i just fitted mine today. i have a bit of a problem! (its the 2 door kit). Ok so both doors unlock fine(sometimes) but wont lock(apart from the drivers door) been pissing about with it all day, found that i have to earth 2 wires not 1. (white and black- no brown as it says in the manual?) but still no luck:(

edit: Was thinking of buying another master motor ?

surely you just wire in the receiver to the C/L pump in the boot and let the standard C/L system do the rest?

nah man. the car didnt have c/l.

I didn't have a go at it yet. I will either tomorrow or Wednesday, so will let you know. I have a 5 door kit so will only connect the two master solenoids. Did you have any problems fitting the solenoids or getting the cables through the door? That's what I am most worried about. :?

rzezin... your car should have C/L from the factory... if it does you're going the long way about fitting Remote C/L

Depends as I've got an L model with no central locking or pump so I'm fitting the rclick electric kit as well.

For some reason it doesn't. It has electric windows and mirrors, but no C/L. I don't know what model it is. :( TBH I was a bit suprised, so decided to get RClick.

What colour were/are the standard seats? Do the door cards have cloth on them and have a gander if it's an OEM electric window loom

It was a pain in the arse mate! took me most of a day and thats with a 2 door... the rubber corns where the hard part!

are you certain the pump just hasn't give up? pretty common failure.

The colour of standard seats are pink/blue/green. Discusting! Haha. I am sure its OEM electric window loom.

To be honest, I'm not. What does the OEM C/L mechanism look like inside the doors?
