A little update. Decided to get delocked handle for the passenager side. :)

The big updates will come after the new year. On Monday, the mechanic is taking the car over to do the cambelt, new fuel pump, and couple of other bits to make sure the engine is how it should be. :)

Happy New Year, everyone!

How did you de-lock?

My drivers side lock is kiffed, and i cba going to buy a new one, and changing Everything, so I'm thinking of doing this?

is it an easy DIY or workshop job?

Well, it's very easy. Simply go to the scrappy and buy a rear handle off a 5 door 6n and it's already de-locked. Then just spray it the colour you want. :)

I've got few things coming soon which I think are missing ;)

Here are some pictures of the carpet inside of the car! Doesn't look as dark as on the previous pictures but that's because of the direct sunlight.

I saw this on edition earlier, got to say it looks amazing!

tiiiny bit lower on the front and it'll sit almost perfectly!

Both front and back will still be going lower. Just waiting for stiff bump stops to arrive :D

Couldn't decide what headlights to buy, but in the mean time I won smoked indicators very cheaply - standard UK postage cost me 5x more than the indicators, haha =] so that persuaded me to do smoked front and here is how it came out :) I also bought a 6n2 GTi splitter so the front is now finished!

This car just keeps getting better and better! The front looks AMAZING! Can't wait to see what is next... :D

parking on slopes is just cheating lol and you need spacers on them fronts in my opinion!!!

  • Author

I do have spacers at the front (well, adapters in 22mm) but there is slight camber ;) I'm sorting out the wheel alignment tomorrow so they will come out a bit more

this is looking really good mate!

one very nice polo you have there dude :p

Woah!

The front end looks immense now, everything seems to work perfectly, especially the tints.

There's hardly any 6n's on here i'm jealous of, but this looks awesome! i like the originality with the wheels. where did you get the tinted indicators from?

  • Author

Thanks for the comments guys ;) much appreciated
