how low can you go?

Featured Replies

yeah they're the ones, you'll encounter other problems before you get low enough to need to take them out though, even if they are cheapo coilovers.

Once its lowered its a problem going places, same with anything thats got very little ground clearance. Id safely say mines low, on 14's and I'm anywhere between 15 and 40mm from the floor depending how it set it, however without the helpers out you've no issues on an 8v, mine was all the way down and the shafts just touched on the chassis legs, but yeah, being low has a price, that being that certain roads etc are just off limits

Na if it ain't low and show, it ain't worth a go :D il put it to 100 and see how it is :)

just fit them then put aside a day to play about with it getting the height how you want it. there's no point saying you'll just go 100mm down because you won't know how much that is lol. just have a good setting up session using trail and error until it's at a height your happy with and that you can drive it at, playing about with them is half the fun any way
