Ok, for anyone thats interested...

you all know CIS (coop) insurance is very cheap. And that they also say no mods on the website.

Well on the matter of alloys i just got off the phone to them and they said it is absolutely fine to have whatever alloys you want as long as they are the same diameter as the original ones. which for me is good as i wanted some 14" ones anyway. They said the mods policy is mainly aimed at 'spoilers and body kit and stuff like that' the chap was quite comprehensive and helpful. so Anyway hope this can help somebody looking for insurance and not many mods. I'm going to ask about lowering another day.. not sure theyll be so keen on that though.

i was with them, before i started to do anyhting to my car.

i rang up about changing wheels, and they said i couldnt even use vw alloys supplied on a polo?!?!
