Hi when i pull up or reverse when i brake i get a loud knock from the front any ideas ?

mine does the same! not so much when i brake though,more often than not its while driving in a straight line or coming out of reverse.but never while turning.

I'm not sure what it is tbh but I'm thinking along the lines of possible engine mount,or defective suspension bushes.

hopefully someone may know the deffinative answer because it drives me mad.

Hi, I had a similar problem to this, mine was because of a loose bolt used to attach the wishbone to the chassis.

The noise was like a loud creak at times and sometimes more of a loud knock. It happened when leaving off, slowing down, basically any significant shift of weight forwards or backwards causing the wishbone to move because of the loose bolt.

Maybe something for you to check out, just jack the car up and check that all the bolts are tight.
