also, anywhere else that might do them a bit cheaper? don't fancy paying £50-£60 per cylinder!

German ebay is pretty reasonable for piston rings, last time I looked rings for GTs were just over £100 for the full set. Search "vw polo kolbenringe"

I had a look on ebay and I had remembered wrong, the general price of all their piston ring sets is around 85 Euro, so not £100 as I thought.
