The only time the police moaned about it was when i went to a festival and they had to push me up a verge so I could get into the camping area hahaha :)

my friends car got impounded for being too low.

insufficient movement in the suspension, he done a test called 'the bounce test'... LOL. no such thing, nothing got held up, there is no law.

that was written by a half wit who quite obviously has never learned English and thinks being a gangsta is cool unfortunately it doesnt work and if your going to be stupid low you deserve to get pulled all the police need is an excuse give them that excuse and they will exploit it to there full extent rules is rules and if you want to tear up tarmac with your car expect it

i've had a loads of people try and give me the whole "so i gave the copper a load of shit and he couldn't do nothin about it" routine, only to be told by other sources later on they were shaking like a shitting dog and had tears in their eye's

and you know its true I've been pulled over a few times i never gave them any grief because at the end of the day they have a job to do to yeah some might be muppets with you at the road side but if you get robbed who are you going to call first yes you may think its funny to give them a hard time but thats when they become more of an arse with you if you are big enough to give it out then be man enough to take it you must give them an excuse to pull you over first

i deal with police everyday at work! people seem to forget that they are normal people! (there are bad nuts in every job) but they aren't out to ruin your day!

My little bro's 6N2 failed mot "for being too low". He wen't down and quizzed them about it, thinking he'd wind the coilies up a bit to keep them quite. Turned out it was because the tyres rubbed on full lock. He changed the wheels back to stock steels and tyres and it passed.

Totally agree, i got pulled the other day as it happens, i was polite as were they, it turned out my number plates didnt reflect enough or something like that, but i told them i had the original plates in the boot and if they wanted too see them, which they said no its ok just change them in the morning whichwas cool of them cause they could of made me do it there and then! they didnt mention the low at all which was cool, they even said it was a nice clean polo lol!!

I've been pulled a few times for stretched tyres, avoiding pot holes (Thought I was drink driving), having a light out but not once did they mention the suspension or how low it was.

There's a fine line between low and unsafe, most police officers (using their common sense) know where the line is and so should anyone who drives a lowered car.

You can fail and MOT if the car is to low.

but the height is pathetic....no way you could ever run a car that low..caoont remember what the height was but i did laugh...
