So it is universally acknowledged that the soft plastic stuff on the grab handles is fucking shite..

So mine is also shite, and is flaking, and I want to change it. I was wondering what other people have done to theirs.

Get new ones? I'm not sure there are many people here into interior customising to the level that they customise the grab handles!

Might be someone tho, could always spray them, tbh id be looking for a set in the scrappies or from someone breaking

Buy new ones direct from VW.

They're probably only around £25.

Don't buy second hand ones because they'll just be the same, the car is 10 years old so every single second hand set will have some flaking.

yeah, a while after i posted this i found the part codes for grab handles :).. so i think ill get some fresh handles, and experiment with my old, shite ones. the only problem is my car has the light grey interior and its really hard to find the bits for it..

Wrap them in pigskin. Thin soft leather,ideal for small objects.
