Good piece of free advise..........

I hate the "it's only a car" argument. For the vast majority of people, it's more than likely the most expensive thing apart from a house that you'll buy in your life so isn't it worth looking after?

So true in most cases. But, it gets a bit worrying when the value of your car is near the bottom of your possessions and things like toolboxes, computers, TVs, Hifis etc are worth more.

Most women's shoes cost more than Fern

She's rude. But its not worth falling out over.

How do you find the Touran? May be the next sensible car I buy

Yupp, end of the day it is just a 'car', family is way more important than any car in my opinion. :smirk:

Just never let her any where near it again :)

Id probably put it through a fence if it was the only option

wouldn't even scratch a mk2. i know from experience :doubt:

Wouldn't be the first time id put a lick of paint on it. Got plenty spare. Its not quite as valuable as someone's life - you wanna know what its like desperately waiting for an ambulance knowing its gonna take longer because someone doesn't wanna scratch the paintwork of an old motor?

i accidently reversed through a fence whilst parking a few days after i passed my test i was concentrating on getting the car straight and before you know it, bang fence on floor polo mounting it......

The Touran is a good piece of kit for what we paid - £3500 from a main dealer. 7 seats - diesel - throw anything in it - 7 adults upto 70-80 no bother - 1/2 a ton of wood for the polo show - a complete GT running gear in the boot without the seats down

Just if you buy a diesel and the temp gets below 2oc then the aux fuel heater kicks in (which is diesel powered) and it looks like you have a fire in the d/s wheel well - told today - its totally normal! Bit Scarey!

Oh a good note - new wheel arrived yesterday! :)

It's just a tv! *puts a brick through it*

I had no problem stealing small boys in the Freelander. Open the barn door and in they go. This Bora just does not have the space.
