For sale is my complete car computer system. This was installed in my Evo VIII until I sold it.

The system has been built by me, and has been rock solid, and completely reliable.

***You will need an amp to use this system, its output is line level***

It comes installed with a fully licensed copy of Centrafuse 2.1, with an upgrade to 3.1 included, but I never got around to installing it.

It comes with a trimmed down version of Windows XP, installed on a SSD hard disc, which boots incredibly quickly. From turning the ignition to hearing music is approx. 30 seconds (using hibernate).

An additional 80gb 7200rpm hard disc is installed for storing music, videos and ripped DVDs

All is installed in a Mini-ITX case, with the hard discs mounted on rubber supports, making them vibration resistant. An extra ultra-quiet fan has been installed in the top of the case for extra ventilation.

There is a GPS module included, so you can buy GPS software of your choice, and integrate it into Centrafuse.

There is also an ODBII reading device, which cost £70 new! It is NOT a cheap eBay one!

Also included is a Silabs USB FM radio, updated with UK complaint firmware.

The system is also Wifi capable, coming with a Belkin USB Wifi stick, capable of A/B/G network pickup

The touchscreen is the newest part of the system, being purchased March 2010. Its LED backlit (very bright), and very sensitive to touch.

I have also installed a steering column remote control, which enables skipping of tracks / stations, volume up/down and mute. This is currently mounted to an Evo 8 steering column cover, but can easily be moved to another!

All components are USB, and connect via the 3 included USB hubs. 1 of the hubs can be mounted in the glovebox for quick connection of USB storage keys etc.

There is also an over-ride switch, so you can prevent your amplifiers from powering up should you need to.

All cables required to connect the system together, except for a connector to the existing car loom, are provided. No need to cut any existing car cables!

This system is absolutely complete, ready to install and use!!!
