why would you want too? the 6N is a lot heavier than the mk3 so it won't perform any thing like it does in the mk3, plus there are already better engines in the 6N

Why would they? Its only 75bhp,the GT is mainly nippy because its light.

The stock 1.6 is as powerful top end but with more torque, its a stronger engine. The standard 1.4 16v is far more sprightly with the progressive nature of those looking for the sporty feel, and even the 1.4 8v isn't far off the overall push a GT would give, given the torque.

Early 1.3 aside (which takes the GT cam and fueling),that only really leaves the 1.0 as being the only model worth GT'ing. And who would insure that on a modified policy against a standard 1.4 or 1.6?

Maybe it has been done? And someone can make sense of it?

i only wondered as I've got a gt lump and a very vary slow 1 liter n reg 6n

ok so change topic whats involved in putting a 16v lump in insted.

I've had 3 mk3's and I'm moving up in the world lol! slightly

i was thinking along the lines of a small capacity high revving engine for my 6n.

now I'm thinking wankel!

^^ I'd fucking love a wankel. Just purely for the sound! They are fucking amazing.

My mates got a wankel in his mazda 1000

Sounds the same as a piston engine tbh
